Archive Newsletter – 10th September 2024

Hi Everyone,

image

I am most definitely feeling the autumn vibes now and even had to wear a jacket when popping to the shop yesterday morning! I have been working on some autumn tutorials for you as well, which I hope that you will enjoy. I have an autumn playlist on my YouTube, so if you cannot wait, you can check out some of my archive videos. There will be a couple more videos coming from the picture here (which is from Autumn Harvest), soon as well!

Now I have finished my copy of Ivy and the Inky Butterfly by Johanna Basford (flip through is here – https://youtu.be/ixHuvJ0-Zls), I have been working in lots of different books, trying to show love to those books that I have not pulled off the shelf for a while! It has been a lot of fun! I have even discovered that my new Derwent Chromaflow pencils work well in Lulu Mayo and Millie Marotta books. My copies of these have smooth paper and I have found it difficult to get a neat finish with other brands so it was good to find a pencil that worked nicely in them!

I have been gifted a lot of lovely books and pencils lately and there are more on the way. I feel very spoiled and want to say thank you to all of you that have sent me new things. I may need to build an extension soon to fit all of my colouring items in! I am so grateful for everyone’s support and I hope that you are enjoying helping yourself to freebies from my ko-fi shop and watching my videos, as these are my gifts to you.

I also want to thank you for your patience while I have been posting lots of compilation videos. It has been tricky finding time to record with the plumbers coming in to fix my bathroom and then getting the floor fixed and the plumbers back as they made a mistake! I am hoping to get back on track with everything very soon. Once the boys are back at university that may help me have a bit of time to myself to catch up!

I hope that you all have a great month and manage to get plenty of relaxation and enjoy plenty of creative time too.

Happy Colouring,

Rachel x
