Hi Everyone,
I am celebrating this week as I have reached 3000 followers on Instagram. This is so amazing and all thanks to you and the support you have given me. I am feeling incredibly grateful, thank you all so much.
I realise that some of you have been disappointed that I have only been releasing one video a day lately and to be honest, I have as well! It has been a bit of a struggle balancing work and videos and just getting back into a routine again after having a few weeks off at Christmas. However, I am hoping to turn that around! I have decided to complete the 30 Days of Flowers challenge with an afternoon video every day for 30 days from World of Flowers. You may be familiar with this as it is a challenge set by Johanna Basford and she has a free download page of all the flowers, which are also in the book, which means that you can colour along even if you do not have it. You can find details here. I have not decided on a starting date yet but it will not be too long I hope!
I have also really got into Rita Berman lately and have secretly set myself the challenge of finishing one of her books this year. As they are a smaller size it feels less daunting than some other illustrators but they still have lots of pages. I love all of the four books of hers that I have, but it is most likely to be Mein Spaziergang Durch die Jahreszeiten that I finish as I have done the most pictures in it already because of the high number of seasonal pictures in it that I coloured over Christmas.
I also want to finish both of my Dominika Stoppa Books. I do love finishing books and hers are quite small so this should not be too tricky. I am probably halfway through each of them and am trying to do a picture each week from them.
I have got into mandalas lately as I have been using the Arteza Mandala book that I got gifted together with my Arteza Expert pencils to test out new colouring pens and pencils. This means that I have been learning more about colouring them and was even sent a free mandala book to review. I am getting more adventurous with colouring them as well, which is fun!
I tend to post most of my completed pictures on my social media pages so please take a look at them if you can. I have an Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Reddit account as well as a website and blog and of course my Youtube. Just click the word to take a look at them. If you do not want to sign up to a social media account you can see everything I post in Pinterest without one, I am not sure if that is the case with the others.
I hope that you are having a great start to the new year.
Happy colouring,
Rachel x
