Hi Everyone,
I hope that everyone is well and has had a good summer.
I have been hinting at a big announcement in videos but I thought it was best to put it in an email newsletter and there are actually two! The first is that I will be taking a mini break in September. My boys are starting university and I need some time with them to help them get ready, as well as some family time together and we are having some work done on the house that will be noisy. Therefore, I have made a difficult decision to only have one video a day for September. This means that there will be no shorts videos and there will be no second video later in the day. Although, the plan is to just have one video a day for the whole monthhttps://youtu.be/LZV0NeItg60, there may be some bonus videos if I get time.
I will also be stepping back from social media. I will be scheduling posts to appear on Facebook and Instagram so it may look like I am around, but I may not be! This means that I will not be responding to emails, comments etc as quickly, but I will get to them as soon as I can. I have actually decided that from 8th September to 18th September we will have a time for family where we will spend quality time together and not be distracted by social media, so at that time, I will be unlikely to responding to anything at all.
I have decided that at the time that I normally post a link to my new afternoon video, I will post a link on my Facebook page, to a video from my archives that you might enjoy. I hope, if you are missing my afternoon videos, that you will use the time to look back at older videos or to catch up with color alongs and tutorials that you may have not yet managed to do and that these posts might be fun too . I will also be scheduling posts of pictures I have completed on my Facebook and Instagram pages to hopefully inspire you.
I will still be doing the Monday planner pages and I have a few other series that will hopefully keep you entertained! I will also still have a completed pages video at the end of the month as always and despite by mini break, I will still be colouring a lot, perhaps even more!
I do have something much more exciting to share with you though! I am planning a different type of mini-series. Something for beginners to colouring, that might help everyone else too. I plan on talking to the camera, so you will see me and not just my hands. It is a scary step for me and will take some organising too. It may be something that will come out as a Christmas present to you, probably earlier for my YouTube members and then a bit later for everyone else. I am still in the planning stages, but I know it is going to happen – especially now that I have told you about it!
