Hi everyone,
The big news of the month has to be the release of Small Victories by Johanna Basford. I have received my copy early, as I ordered from Waterstones, who is a UK bookseller who tends to send out books before the release date. This means that I have already been able to do a detailed flip through for you which you can find here. I have also recorded a mini series from the book already. It starts this evening and is in six parts, one for the next six days. A sneaky peek picture of the page is below.
I am planning lots more videos from the book, but I aware that not everyone has the book or will find it appealing, so there will be other videos from other books as well such as this one from World of Flowers which will be released on my YouTube on the 11th November.
I have also tried something a bit new. I have made a video where I coloured a postcard and will be giving it away, if anyone wants it! This video is scheduled for the 9th November, so look out for it if you are interested in winning!
I was also asked to do an up to date video showing all of my pencils. I therefore made a video where I show most of them and tell you my opinion on each of them. I hope that will be a useful one for you. That one is scheduled for 8th November.
I have also been colouring all sorts of pictures as usual and will show you all of them in my completed pages video at the end of the month. If you did not see my October one you can find it here.
I cannot believe that my next newsletter will be in December and I will be talking about Christmas colouring no doubt! If you want to get ahead of the game and look at Christmas colouring that I have done in the past, I have a playlist on my YouTube channel here. However, you may still be in the mood for autumn and may prefer to check out my autumn playlist here.
My final excitement is that I have put together some new charts for you. They are index pages for Johanna Basford colouring books, so that you can note down when you started and finished each page and which colouring materials you used There is a printable PDF as well as an excel file that you can use to keep track on your PC rather than hand writing. You can also edit the Excel chart to suit your needs. If these prove to be popular then I may also produce them for other books, such as those by Hanna Karlzon, Rita Berman and Maria Trolle. You can download them from my ko-fi shop here.
Thank you to everyone who has already visited the ko-fi shop and especially to those that have supported me, bought me a coffee or followed me. In fact thank you to everyone for all of the support you give me by following, subscribing, liking and commenting on YouTube and my social media pages, it makes everything I do even more pleasurable.
