Derwent Chromaflow Coloured Pencils – Review

Derwent Chromaflow pencils are fairly new into the UK although they have been available in other countries for longer. They come in a set of 12 or 24 and both sets come in a tin. The 24 set contains a good range of colours with white, black, grey, three browns, three greens, four blues, two purples, three pinks, two reds, an orange and three yellows.

They are all vibrant and layer up and blend nicely together. Twenty four is a portable size and also is good to use when you want a decent range of colours but not masses of choice. The pencils sharpen well without too much breakage and they keep their points pretty well.

I have done a video review which you can see below:

The pencils are available to buy from many places including from Amazon here. They are around £1.50 per pencil, which is around what you would expect to pay for a good quality pencil and Derwent are known for being on the pricier side. For me, they were much better value for money than the more expensive Lightfast set and they were easier for me to learn how to use.
