Ivy and the Inky Butterfly Book Review

Ivy and the Inky Butterfly is a storybook by Johanna Basford and has her lovely drawings on every page including many pages with no words at all. The story is about how Ivy discovers a butterfly and follows it to a magical world. There are many leaves and flowers to colour as well as creatures such as a mouse, magpie and dragons and lots of treasure pages too. It is an opportunity to colour some new things compared with Johanna’s other books and the story is delightful as well. The book is a slightly different size to her others, having more pages but being rectangular and slightly smaller compared with her usual square books.
