Secret Garden Book Review

Secret Garden was Johanna Basford’s first book and it takes the form of an inky treasure hunt. The idea is to look for the creatures as you colour the pages. It is full of designs with flowers and leaves, some with lots of detail and some with less and some of the pages have spaces so that you can draw parts in yourself. There are lovely garden scenes as well as more patterned pictures as well. Some are double-paged spreads that you can really get lost in and some have small designs to enjoy.

I have filmed a flip through review of the book, if you would like to see what each page looks like:

I have completed two copies of this book now and put together flip through videos of them.

I also put together a flip through of the books together, where I compared the pages that I had coloured. You may like to take a look at this too or instead:

If you would like to buy a copy of this book, you can find it in many bookshops both on the high street, as well as online on sites such as Amazon. You can find out more details about the book here.

I have also completed a series of video tutorials for this book which can be found here.
