Castle Arts have a selection of different pencil sets. They have general sets such as their 72 and 120, but they also have smaller 24 pencil sets with particular themes. I was lucky enough to be gifted their Seascape set which has a selection of colours specifically chosen for colouring sea-based pictures. I thought it was a great idea to use them for Lost Ocean pictures, but they will also be great for Secrets of the Sea by Millie Marotta and other water based books.
They have a lovely range of colours with yellows, oranges and reds and well as blues, greens, purples, browns, greys, white and black. All of these colours will be in their 120 set but they are not all in the 72 set.
The pencils themselves layer up nicely and blend well. They keep their point fairly well after sharpening and tend not to break that often. You can find out more and purchase them from Amazon here. You can see my video review here:
